Long Description

This group was started in 1989 by Alan Lane and Virginia King in an attempt to remove the masses of European weeds and return the area to its native state.

The group currently has 12 volunteer members (2016).

The group meets on the 4th Saturday of each month (except December) from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm (come when you can, leave when you need to).

BIOREGIONAL COLLABORATION FOR PLANETARY HEALTH

The Bioregional Collaboration includes Blue Mountains City Council’s Planetary Health Initiative, Lithgow City Council, Western Sydney University’s Lithgow Transformation Hub, Mountains Community Resource Network and the Sustainability Workshop.

This project is supported by the Disaster Risk Reduction Fund (DRRF). The DRRF is jointly funded by the Australian and New South Wales governments.
