Short Description: The Campbell Rhododendron Gardens are unique in the world – no other garden has attempted to plant exotics underneath their existing native bush on such a large scale. The gardens have a series of nature walks leading to the valley floor and the lake, with limited disabled access – most of the paths from the Lodge are bitumen, as is the service road through the valley. The rest, including all the paths on the far side of the valley, are in a natural state and have a varying number of steps to be negotiated.

Short Description: The Leslie Memorial Presbyterian Church, designed in 1925 by the prominent Sydney architectural firm Ross and Rowe, is a good representative example of an Inter-war gothic church. Short Description: During the Annual Rhododendron Festival the Blackheath village comes alive with entertainment and street stalls. The Grand Parade takes place on the first Saturday in November and the Annual Art Show is held at the Blackheath Community Centre with over 300 exhibits including traditional and contemporary works.
During the festival, there are varied stalls, activities and music for all the family.
Other activities during November include the Rhodo Dance or Ball, the Rhodo Festival Revue, and the Rhodo Festival Golf Classic. The Campbell Rhododendron gardens are always open for inspection.
